About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Fritzy, Monte Christo Winery’s beloved food trailer. This is a key role helping us through our busy summer season, supporting both the food trailer and our prep kitchen. It’s a great opportunity for someone with some kitchen experience who enjoys being part of a hardworking and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate dishes to a high standard, both with and without supervision
• Assist with food preparation tasks in both the food trailer and prep kitchen
• Use basic knife skills safely and efficiently
• Provide friendly customer service, including working our Point of Sale
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, including washing dishes and following cleaning procedures
• Work well under pressure in a busy environment
• Bonus: Barista skills are a plus!

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Some experience in a kitchen or food preparation role
• Knowledge of hygiene practices
• Ability to stay organised and work efficiently under pressure
• Availability to work weekends and some evenings
