We are currently seeking to fill the following positions:
ALEXANDRA/CLYDE: part time Postie, 18-25 hours per week. 4-5 days including alternate Saturdays - must be confident to ride a motorbike or e-motorbike (car license)
CROMWELL: part time Postie, 14-20 hours per week. 2-3 days including alternate Saturdays - must be confident to ride a motorbike or e-motorbike (car license)
ALEXANDRA OR CROMWELL: My Food Bag courier driver, 4-5 hours on a Sunday - would suit someone looking for additional funds, or could be combined with another role
ALEXANDRA: Casual Relief Courier & Rural Delivery driver, cover owner driver leave between hours of 6am-3pm, option for a couple of regular days to be discussed. Would suit semi-retired person
Ideal candidates will have a great eye for detail, ability to work fast and efficiently as part of a team and as an individual and a willingness to give it a go – in all conditions!
Selection criteria
Essential:
- Clean Restricted or Full Drivers License
- Motorcycle License (can be gained if successful) - POSTIE ONLY
- Customer service experience within a collaborative team environment
- High level of attention to detail combined with working at a fast pace
- Mental and physical ability to successfully undertake the requirements of the role
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol check, along with a criminal history and driving record check
- Customer focus/centric – passionate about providing high levels of customer service
- Good communication skills
- Safety – coordination, dexterity and sensory skills
Desirable:
- Experience as a delivery person or within the postal/transportation industry
