Dormer Construction Ltd is based in North Canterbury completing works throughout the South Island specialising in Pipelines and Civil Works projects.

• Excavator & Machine Operators

• Pipelayers

• Labourers

With over 27 years working in the civil construction industry, we can offer you a supportive role where you are able to build on skills, knowledge, and experience.

You will have the opportunity to learn hands on in the following areas:

• Excavating and trenching

• Renewal and installation of sewer, storm water and irrigation systems

• Interpreting site documents including plans and QA requirements

• Operating plant and machinery

• Diverse project environment

• Civil earthworks and utility service installation on residential and commercial developments

Having experience in the civil construction industry with a proven history of operating machinery would be desirable, but not essential.

Pipelayers will ideally hold qualifications in pipelaying or the equivalent, but full training will be given.

Reliability, a positive can-do attitude and being a team player is vital. Commitment to health and safety and the values the company holds within health and safety is essential.

Must have a current full driver’s license and preferably endorsed in WTR. Good rate of pay will be offered to the successful applicants.

Candidates must be able to pass, Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol/ Medical test.
