About the role:

We are seeking a registered and currently practicing Electrician with excellent problem solving skills to join our team as a Technician. The role is based in Cromwell where you will be part of a high performing team in a beautiful setting.

Reporting to the Technician Team Leader, the Technician role involves performing installation, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, testing and commissioning on a wide range of Electricity Supply Industry Plant including control equipment and instrumentation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known and progressive South Island contracting company with interesting projects around the South Island. Gain further experience and personal development working with a progressive company in a supportive and fun environment.

What you need to succeed:

• EWRB Registration
• Current Practicing license
• National certificate in Electricity Supply (Level 4)
• Level 5 Technician qualification (desirable)
• Experience in domestic and Commercial installation work
• A current and clean drivers licence
• Good problem solving skills
• An analytical approach to fault finding in distribution equipment and systems
• A good track record in dealing with customers
• Competent in using a computer
