The Civil Site Team Lead is a central role in the delivery of efficient site works. Working collaboratively with the wider civil crew, this role takes responsibility for siteworks planning, allocation of daily duties, health and safety, coaching and mentoring while delivering effective site management services that exceeds customer expectation. This role requires the ability to juggle competing priorities while balancing effective leadership and supporting the growth and capability of the team.

Working in a range of locations, delivering a variety of projects from subdivision connections to rural trenching, this role is as unique and interesting as the working environment. Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience in heavy machinery operation
  • Capable of planning and scheduling of works in a complex environment
  • Experience with interpreting schematics and basic utility diagrams
  • Teamwork, relationship building and collaboration skills essential
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Hold a current and valid driver’s licence


Desirable:

  • Class 2 heavy vehicle driver’s licence
  • Wheels Tracks & Rollers endorsement
  • Experience in supervising crews in a dynamic working environment
