We are seeking an administration support person for our busy reception area, approx 16 hours per week.

Office Duties:

  • Providing a polite and efficient front desk service to the public, including course enquiries, registrations and confirmation etc.
  • Managing course bookings through the REAP website, also answering any phone enquiries and emails regarding bookings.
  • Transfer registration data to our in-house REAPiT programme from the website, also keeping REAPiT up to date with other data as required.
  • Word processing, photocopying and carrying out specific tasks for all staff as required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 preferable.
  • Assist with information brochures, ensuring website and Facebook are kept up to date with relevant information.
  • Keeping the staff room, meetings rooms tidy and organised including emptying the dishwasher.
  • To undertake other duties as assigned by The Manager


The Ability To:

  • Understand and communicate the learning opportunities at REAP in a positive and knowledgeable manner
  • Engage with the public, agencies and others in a positive manner
  • Advocate Central Otago REAP activities generally
  • Maintain credible relationships with staff, learners and all stakeholders


Central Otago REAP Team

  • Be a full and active member of the Central Otago REAP Team who takes responsibility for their role, resources and development:
  • All REAP Policies and Procedures are adhered to and followed
  • Relevant Te Reo and Tikanga Māori exhibited in day-to-day activity
  • Professional development undertaken as negotiated with the Manager
  • Work files are well organised and accessible to team members
  • Other duties completed as agreed by or assigned by Manager
