Permanent full-time position (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week) - Dunstan Hospital - Central Otago

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Allied Health Assistant team.

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Therapists and other disciplines to deliver rehabilitation programmes to our

patients in the Dunstan Hospital Ward and in the wider community.

Ongoing training will be provided to ensure you develop the skills to deliver therapeutic programmes and services under the delegation of a therapist.

The aim is to assist patients with improving and maintaining a level of independence in their home environment.

We need applicants to be physically fit, hold a full driver’s license and have an appropriate level of skill using information technology.

Applicants for this position must be a NZ resident or have a valid NZ work visa.

The salary range for this role is $45,000 - $58,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.
