Permanent Part Time (up to 0.8 FTE)
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Medical Imaging Technologist to join our Radiology team on a permanent part-time basis. You will be working in both general X-Ray and CT and will participate in a 24/7 on-call roster together with our other experienced MITs. You will work alongside our Sonographers, Rural Medical Specialists and experienced Nursing and Allied Health teams.
Central Otago Health Services Ltd (COHSL) is a 24-bed acute rural hospital located in Clyde, Central Otago. Our community consists of approximately 40,000 people from across the Central Otago region (Roxburgh, Alexandra, Cromwell & Wanaka). In addition, we have a number of national and international visitors coming to our area. We provide After Hours urgent care from 6pm – 8am, 7 days per week and also provide a number of Specialist Out-Patient and community services. You will experience everything rural medicine has to offer!
What we are looking for:
- A competent MIT
- Preferably CT trained, but training can be provided for the right applicant
- Someone who is compassionate and courteous with excellent interpersonal skills
- Registered with the NZ MRTB as a Medical Imaging Technologist (essential) and hold a current APC
- You must be eligible to work in New Zealand
