Central Otago District Council is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our Water Services Team based in Alexandra.

The position will work within a collaborative team to supply safe drinking water, and collect and treat wastewater and stormwater, in an environmentally and economically sustainable manner. The role will specifically be involved in the operational delivery of three waters services to our community.

The person will hold a tertiary qualification in engineering or science or have relevant experience, however, the key attribute will be enthusiasm and willingness to work in a team environment.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Hold a tertiary qualification in engineering or science or relevant experience.

• Hold a New Zealand Driver's License

• Have strong organisational skills.

• Be flexible, adaptable and enjoy a challenge

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team and to deadlines.
