No two days are the same!
You’ll:
- Monitor resource consent conditions and conduct site visits
- Provide technical regulatory and enforcement advice across Council departments
- Respond to community and internal service requests
- Prepare and issue permits, notices, and infringements
- Assist Parking and Dog Control Officers when required
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in planning or resource management
- Experience in local government (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Sound analytical and report-writing skills
- Solutions-focused approach and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
