Desired Skills and Experience

As the successful applicant you will have:

• Preferred tertiary level qualification in communications, media or public relations
• Experience in media management and distribution
• Previous experience within a communications, public relations or media team
• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Strong writing, research and storytelling skills
• Good strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work priorities and deadlines
• An interest in digital tools and analytics to enhance communication
• A passion for Central Otago and its people
