Central Otago Districts Council’s Information Services department is looking for its next ICT Lead.
Information Services is responsible for strategic enablement, and operational support, maintenance, delivery, development, and ongoing continual improvement of:
• Business Information Systems – Applications and services, data management, analytics, and visualisation
• Information and Records Management – Information, records, LGOIMA Requests and privacy
• Information and Communication Technology – End user, technology infrastructure and cybersecurity
Reporting to the Information Services Manager, you will be responsible for ICT support and delivery.
Providing excellent customer service with your two IS Customer Service team members, you will also be responsible for:
• End user support for all IS functions and services.
• Cybersecurity delivery and improvement.
• Technology infrastructure management and maintenance.
• Maintaining a collaborative team culture, where information is at the heart of what we do.
• Building and maintaining credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• A wide range of ICT initiatives and projects end to end, including change and project management.
Qualifications and Experience:
• You must be a capable people leader, that can develop and grow your team, and support your peers.
• 10+ year experience in the ICT field with
• An extensive background and current knowledge of cybersecurity, server, storage, networking, communication infrastructure including Microsoft Windows, Linux, virtual technologies, Active Directory, VOIP, HP or Cisco networking.
