CAJ Apples is looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position offering a diverse range of general service and repair work of orchard vehicles and machinery.

Key responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance and mechanical repairs of orchard machinery. Diagnose vehicle faults and provide solutions. Ensure high standards of workmanship. Maintain accurate records relating to vehicles, parts, and service history. Follow health and safety procedures.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience as a mechanic - minimum 5 years preferred
• Relevant trade qualification
• A full clean NZ driver's licence and your own tools
• An attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
