We have an exciting opportunity for an Orchard Operations Specialist to join our team and undertake all operations across two cherry orchards with the guidance of an industry leader who can provide positive mentoring that will set you up for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform tractor work, including spraying & mowing

- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers safely and effectively.

- Conduct pruning and tree maintenance to ensure optimal growth and productivity.

- Monitor and maintain irrigation and fertigation systems.

- Assist with harvesting operations.

- Maintain accurate records of all orchard activities.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience in orchard operations or a related horticultural field.

- Proficiency in operating tractors and other orchard machinery.

- Knowledge of spraying techniques and safe chemical handling.

- Expertise in pruning and tree maintenance practices.

- Strong understanding of irrigation systems.

- Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver's license.
