Roberts Family Fruit Ltd and Roberts Family Fruit Country Store operate in Earnscleugh, halfway between Alexandra and Clyde. The Roberts family first stepped foot onto Earnscleugh soil, in 1961 and the orchard has stayed a close family concern ever since.

Producing delicious apricots, cherries, nectarines, peaches, plums, apples and pears, our packaging and trade name is Roberts Family Fruit, 'Southern Fresh'. We strive to “Consistently meet the needs of our customers now and in the future by providing healthy, nutritious fruit grown in a sustainable manner”

What we Grow

Central Otago’s dry cold winters and dry hot summers are ideal conditions for growing stone fruit and summer fruit. This winter chill is necessary for the fruit trees to bud properly and set fruit in the spring. The region’s sandy, well drained soils are also very favourable for our trees.

Our Country Store

The Roberts Famiily fruit is approximately halfway between Alexandra and Clyde. This is an ideal location for travelers driving State Highway 8 between Dunedin, Invercargill, Roxburgh, Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown.
