Year 0 - Year 8

Poolburn School is a small school based in the farming area of the Ida Valley in Central Otago.

The historic 150 year old building has turned into a modern learning environment as well as a community hub where meetings can be held. There is also an extensive school library.

The Poolburn School is divided into classrooms:

Raggedy Range - Year 0 - 3

Rough Ridge - Year 4 - 8

Hawkduns - Communal classroom

Poolburn prides itself on learning the foundations of learning but maximising our small school nature by getting out and about, bringing our learning to life! 

The school is the heart of the Poolburn community.
