I’m excited to share that Play Week Aotearoa 2025 is just around the corner – running from Monday 20 October to Sunday 26 October – and I’d love for us to get behind it!

Play Week is a national celebration led by Sport New Zealand – Ihi Aotearoa, highlighting the incredible value that play brings to our tamariki, whānau, and communities. Tākaro Mai, reminds us that play is more than just fun – it’s how our children build confidence, creativity, friendships, and a lifelong love of being active.

Join one of our Play Days around the district. There will be one in Alexandra (21st), Wānaka (22nd), Queenstown (23rd), Cromwell(25th) and Ranfurly (30th)!
