We urgently need your help to stay open!

COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the Maniototo’s International Curling rink in Naseby. As a result of the dramatic down-turn in tourism we are now only able to open on reduced hours and only thanks to a small and dedicated team of volunteers.

We are urgently seeking help from more local people who are interested in working just a few hours each week on a voluntary basis to ensure this valued community asset stays open over the next few months. 

While some curling experience would be helpful, it is not essential as we will provide our new volunteers with on-site training. All you need to bring is a positive outlook, a willingness to learn new skills and a desire to be part of a small, friendly and enthusiastic team.

As we re-grow patronage there may be opportunities for our volunteers to gain paid employment in the future.
