Our next Business Group meeting will be on Wednesday the 23rd of July at Lorriane Duncan’s Wedderburn Cottages and venue (Opposite the Wedderburn Tavern)

Due to the electrical/power work that has been happening around the Maniototo recently, next week suits best.

We will have Lorriane giving us a tour and talk on the Cottages etc and there will be drinks and nibbles so I need numbers please ASAP

Hopefully Angela from the Wedderburn Tavern will also be able to update us afterwards on what they have to offer including the big marque out the back.

We have a had a number of business’s change hands in the last month or three, so some new faces to us all to get to know.

So please make sure you are there to find out what else is new in our area.

I hope this finds you well! I am just catching up on emails after being away out of the office. I subscribe to an email called the “Bank of Ideas” which is small town Australia focused and has some real gems! In the latest edition was a link to a series of webinars by Peter Kenyon and I thought you (and maybe others in the Māniatoto) might be interested in them. I’ve been watching the “Ingredients for Building a Strong and Resilient Small Twon” and have loved being reminded of how powerful communities are! I am also looking forward to the one coming up called “You don’t get a second chance at first impressions”
