Hammond, Alan Douglas 20/9/50 – 16/8/24 Alan went to fly with the waterfowl on Friday, August 16 2024 after a long tussle with illness.

Dearly loved partner of Jenny, loved former husband of Helena; dearly loved father and father in law of Natasha and Simon, Damien, Vanessa and Harry, and Milly; loved grandfather of Oliver and Emily, Kaleb, Hunter, Penelope and Oscar, Eve and

Stella. Loved oldest son of Mildred and Bob, and loved brother of Neil, Colin*, Owen*, Ian, Brian (Barney)*, Ross*, Neville, Dale and Blair. (* Denotes deceased). Renowned owner of many legendary naughty dogs, friend of many, mentor to young

hunters and scallywags far and wide. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Dunstan Hospital and Health Central for their wonderful care of Alan over the last few years.

A Service for Alan will be held in The Cellar Door, 143A Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, at 2 00pm on Thursday 22 August .
