I’m Curtis Pannett, a sheep and beef farmer in the Teviot Valley, the place I grew up in and am now proud to call home with my wife and daughter.
I’m standing for Council to be a strong, sensible voice for our community and the wider district, someone who understands both the big-picture challenges and the daily realities residents face. I bring a balanced perspective, responsible fiscal management, and a commitment to constructive decision-making.
My priorities include addressing infrastructure gaps, investing for growth, and ensuring Central Otago remains a great place to live while tackling the challenges that come with a growing population. The current cost pressures on Council budgets demand a laser-like focus on delivering core services and infrastructure in a manner that respects ratepayers and delivers real value for money.
