St Andrew’s is in the Parish of the Upper Clutha which includes churches at Wanaka and Tarras. The Vicar is based in Wanaka and is aided by a robust team of both lay and ordained ministers.

Services:

  • Eucharist 1st/2nd/3rd/4th Sundays 9.00am; 5th Sunday 11.00am.                
  • Meditation Tuesdays 8.30am.

 

Set on a generous corner site under large trees, St Andrew’s was built in 1874 making it the oldest church in Cromwell. It has thick stone walls, arched windows and stained glass that hark back to a different era. Generations of worship and celebration permeate the essence of this beautiful church giving a sense of continuity and participation in an evolving tradition of faith and community.
