Alexandra District Parents Centre is a service in the community run by a committee who provide the following:

• Weekly music and movement sessions during school term
• Swimming lesson subsidies for our members
• Whanau packs
• Educational events for the public
• Family events including Outdoor Movie Nights, Train Ride, Duck Race and Easter Hunt
• Car seat hire services and new car seats
• Homemade meals for new mums & people in need that have been nominated.

We raise funds for these services through our Annual Duck Race. All money raised go towards our running costs.

We are looking for volunteers to join our Committee of fun, community & family orientated people.

With many hands make light work and through our group of committee we provide amazing resources and services to our Community of whānau & Tamariki.

These families range from those who have just had a baby to some that need some extra support.
