The Great Naseby Water Race is one of New Zealand’s most iconic ultramarathons, held in the historic gold-mining town of Naseby in Central Otago. Set against a stunning backdrop of forest trails and gravel roads, the race follows a 10km loop alongside an old water race once used during the gold rush era.
Runners can take on a range of distances from 50km right up to a gruelling 200 miles, either solo or as part of a relay team. Whether you're an experienced ultrarunner or just keen to be part of something unique, it’s an unforgettable challenge with a strong community feel.
