From Tuesday 8th to Saturday 12th April, museum experts from Tūhura Otago Museum will be conducting a special Taonga Tūturu (Māori Artefact Cataloguing) event across our local museums.


This roadshow is for the public to come and witness the experts going through Central Otago Museum collections and examining their Māori artefacts as well as natural history items like rocks and Moa bones etc.


Members of the public have been invited to bring in their Māori artefacts and/ or natural items, for the experts to examine and talk to you about.

Our expert curators are eager to examine and share the stories behind your discoveries!

CLYDE MUSEUM (at Clyde Masonic Lodge)

  • Wednesday 9th April | 12:00 noon – 7:30pm
  • Thursday 10th April | 10:00am – 5:00pm

CENTRAL STORIES

  • Friday 11th April | 12:00 noon – 7:30pm
  • Saturday 12th April | 10:00am – 3:00pm
