Sport Central’s RAINBOW RUNS are back and bigger than ever!

Sport Central Night 'n Day Rainbow Runs are fun events where hundreds of participants run or walk around marked 3km courses and become their own works of art as they pass through five colour checkpoints.

We encourage participants to wear white or black clothing to really make the colour stand out when our local fire brigade douse you in water before you run through the colour stations.

More than just a fun day out, it is a celebration of community, wellbeing, and active lifestyles in Otago.

We have been running these events across Otago for more than 10 years, and they continue to bring the fun and colour to those involved.

Note: The coloured powder used is a food grade product, so it washes off clothes and bodies easily, but we suggest wearing older clothes and shoes you don't mind getting a bit colourful! ​​​​​​​
