24hr, 15hr, 6hr, and 3hr Options

Update! New Location just secured for the National Champs on the 22nd and 23rd November.

Mt Pisa turned out to be out of the question due to a recent survey that identified the proposed course as an important nesting area for the Banded Doterels.

We are going back to Lake McKay Station. (They don't have any lambing stock at that time of year). We will set a brand new course and include as much neighbouring property as we can.

There is quite a bit of Kanuka/Manuka forest on Lake McKay station - its nice and open underneath so there are likely to be a few control options within there.

• We will be using the NZ Rogaine association navelite electronic scoring with orienteering (large Orange and White) controls. 
• 3hr and 6hr maps will be A4 nevatear map one side clues on the other.
• 15 and 24hr maps will be A2 nevatear (You will get one A2 plain paper map for planning) Clues on additional A4 nevatear.
• There are no huts over the course. There is plenty of good drinking water. There will be one 'mountain camp set up as a satellite hashhouse
