Eddie ‘The Eagles’ 6-Hour Mountain Bike, Walk or Run Fundraiser Challenge and Race.

Whether you're a trained professional, weekend warrior or first-timer come along and choose your event.

Ride, walk or run as many laps of the course as you or your team can in 6 hours or come and complete a lap at your leisure.

This means that you can treat this event however works best for you.

Come and race me for the full 6 hours, get a relay team of 2-4 for the 6 hours, simply come and ride for as long as you want or have time for, complete a lap with the family, do a one lap burner and try to take out the Strava challenge and maybe even my KOM.

If mountain biking is not your thing, bring your walking or running shoes and head around the separate foot course and enjoy the autumn colours with some friends or again complete the race in a way that works best for you.

What ever event you do you will be in to win some of our great spot prizes.

With prizes for category winner also.

While all this is happening, enjoy some hot food, BBQ and refreshments.

Entry: Entries will be taken on the day but please respond to this event so we can get an idea of how many people we may have. Entry fees are a donation of your choice.

Why: So far this year I have managed to win the NZ National U19 XCO Champs and was lucky enough to compete in a couple of races in Australia where I won one of them. The next step in my racing journey involves travelling to Europe to compete in some top-level Junior World Series MTB races and hopefully the World Champs in Andorra. This is a dream to me but obviously is very costly so we are looking for some support to make this happen.
