The Wānaka Community Response Group is hosting events over February 1 & 2 to help you get ready for an emergency.

A selection of emergency vehicles will be on display (unless called out for an emergency) including the Coast Guard boat.

A representative from Emergency Management Otago will be on site to answer questions, a sausage sizzle kindly run by the Rotary Club of Wānaka and check out the Mitre 10 MEGA display of appropriate emergency gear needed for your "grab bag".

Come and meet your local volunteer emergency response group and learn more about how you can better prepare your household or become involved in the group.
