About Our Fundraiser:

Animal Rehab Central (ARC) is a not-for-profit charity established in 2020, dedicated to rehabilitating and rehoming unwanted and abandoned animals—primarily cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies. ARC has successfully rehomed over 400 pets but, like many rescues, is struggling to survive in today’s economic climate. With an increasing number of animals needing help and fewer people in a position to adopt, ARC is at capacity.

As ARC receives no government funding, they rely entirely on community generosity and fundraising events. They operate a pet supply store in Alexandra to support their rescue efforts and their facility in Earnscleugh.

About Bulletproof Convertible:

Bulletproof Convertible is a three-piece swamp rock outfit from New Zealand, featuring original songs with guitar, double bass, and drums—soaking in rhythm. Their sound is full noise, 50s-influenced, and irresistibly danceable, combining dark surf and dirty RnR Rebel.

The band’s lineup includes:

  • Silas Waring - Guitar
  • Alex Ramsay - Drums
  • Paul Southworth - Double Bass

Together, they deliver a relentless and original sound, driven by Silas Waring’s compelling songwriting, which captures broken characters in familiar yet misunderstood settings.
