This grassroots event was founded by local (retired) plumber Chris Flannery, who turned his personal journey with stage 4 melanoma into a powerful initiative for awareness and fundraising.

The tournament has grown into a major community gathering, offering free skin checks and raising funds for both national melanoma education and local patient care at Dunstan Hospital.
