Repair & Care Cafés 2026 – Let’s Fix It Together 🔧🪡

This year we’re rolling out four Repair & Care Cafés across Central Otago, kicking off in Cromwell.

These community days are all about repair, care, and sharing skills — keeping useful things in circulation, reducing waste, and bringing people together around practical know-how.

We’re putting the call out for volunteers with repair skills (or a willingness to share what you know), including:

• 🚲 Bikes & fishing gear
• 🧵 Clothing, jewellery & upholstery
• 🔌 Electrical items & small appliances
• 👞 Shoe care & leatherwork
• 🪴 Garden tools & knife sharpening
• 💻 Digital help & troubleshooting

Whether you’re a seasoned fixer, a backyard tinkerer, or someone who loves helping others learn, we’d love to hear from you.
