Eighteen Central artists’ work will adorn the Cairnmuir Woolshed walls this coming weekend for the 12th annual art Bannockburn Arts exhibition. 

The exhibition will be held again on 18-20 October 2024. The Artists of Bannockburn, including some new faces, will return with their original works to showcase our iconic Central Otago environment, each one having their own inspiration and passion to express. Expect some amazing and unique artworks.

The exhibition showcases Central Otago’s unique environment, with many works drawing inspiration from the rugged landscape and climate.

Works of different mediums are in the exhibition including pottery, watercolour, drawings, photography, wire and beaded sculpture, mixed media paintings, and prints.

A bunch of local photographers are exhibiting including Janyne Fletcher, Tim Hawkins, Rowan Klestvul, Celia Walmsley, Maurice Middleditch and Martin Anderson.

Other Central based artists and guests showing new works are painters Odelle Morshuis, Gail de Jong, Megan Huffadine and Robert Franklin and Rod Keilor’s ceramics.
