Christmas Day is for everyone! 

And yet for many people, Christmas day can be less then the hoped for day of peace, joy, hope and love. In 2015, three friends were themselves facing the prospect of a Christmas day far from family and friends, themselves having recently moved to Alexandra.

Thinking they could "do something" they set about resurrecting a meal open to all: for the people, and visitors of Central Otago. 

With a little over three weeks they pulled off what was considered almost impossible: cooking and hosting Christmas dinner for 60 people on the St Enoch's church lawn.

Help from businesses and the wonderful people of Alexandra allowed people who would have spent Christmas alone, or unable to celebrate in a way of their hoping, to enjoy the festivities.

We would love your participation, to help Alexandra and Central Otago celebrate Christmas Day this year.
